One Tear The lives of two, changed in just one instant. A moment where deception filled the heart of another. Fraudulent words, given as sincere, Yet the ears of the receiver are true, And his pain is only to begin. Passing time distributes no relief, But rather, unending turmoil and anguish. Unable to understand deceit between two lovers. Unanswered questions still remain in he who dies slowly within. But the lives of two others, changed in just one instant. A pair, so close? No—blatantly distant. Left behind is the heart of the deceived, Shattered. Awaiting the Radiant spirit of another, To volunteer a love more true. And gather the pieces that lie miles from each other, Slowly piecing back together a man. One tear falls. --Wes Kipler
