ok, here's another poem for you to gander at. i think this guy has a bunch of good stuff, which is why i'm trying to share it w/ you all so as to give him some exposure. feel free to email me your comments or poems as well if you don't want to put them in the guestbook. The Union of Souls Love—the platform of all existence. One moment in time where motion ceases. An instant where judgment is replaced, By absolute adoration of being. A unity of souls, Bound by the passions of the committed. Together, their devotion impenetrable. Separate, their compassion still undying. Yet, love takes hostage the heart, And can destroy it With the assassination of feelings, Accomplished by those thought to be sincere. The heart, bound in the catacombs of its aggressor, Struggles to break free and fuse to that which warms it. Hope—given by a shield to man’s existence, Through Rays of brilliance, which blind love’s assassin. A new life, a new start, a new beginning. Faith was lost for ages until, Love—triumphant again. --Wes Kipler
